From Stone town you can see this interesting island where giant tortoises were imported from Aldabra Seychelles since 1919, half an hour from Stone town a nice place for snorkeling and sunbathing.
This island was used as quarantine, before the British built the prison for stone town in 1890s. The building never used as a prison though
